My name is Bobby, I am the owner of Bed and breakfast Groningen - Peizerweg. Together with Lauren (my daughter) and Christel we run the B&B which is located on the edge of the city of Groningen. We became the owner of the building in 2017, and after many renovations we have been open with the B&B since April 2018. We are open almost every day of the year and hope to welcome you soon in my Bed and breakfast.

Rooms.

Comfort and a pleasant stay are paramount in our rooms. We offer rooms that are fully equipped, whether you are here for the fun of the city of Groningen, for a business stay or to enjoy the beautiful surroundings by bike. All rooms with private entrance, bathroom & toilet. Free parking on site and a shared breakfast room, where there is also plenty of room for a game or reading the newspaper at the large table. Inspired by the luxurious and comfortable feel of a hotel, with the charm of a bed and breakfast.

Parking

During your stay you can make free use of our private parking space behind our accommodation. There is also room here for any trailers or larger work buses

Bikes

We have a number of bicycles that are available especially for our guests.

Garden

There is a communal terrace on our property. The terrace is accessible and available to everyone.

Snacks

There is a snack machine in the B&B. Here you can buy snacks and drinks with your debit card.

Children

Only! It is possible to place a cot in the Comfort room. Children up to 8 years old can stay in the same room. Maximum 1 child, there are costs involved.

Lazy check-out

If available, you can check out later on Sundays until 15:00. The costs of this are 30,-

Darts

We have made a room especially for our guests to play a game of darts.

Close to the city of Groningen is a nature reserve of approximately 3,500 contiguous football fields, with rugged meadows, swamp forest and plenty of room for excess water. During prolonged, heavy rainfall, this area ensures that the people of Groningen keep their feet dry. At a height of 26 metres, the watchtower offers a magnificent view: over De Onlanden, on the skyline of Groningen, on the many marsh birds and special grazers.

Station Groningen

Just like in Rotterdam and Antwerp, for example, Groningen Central Station is an architectural gem. The lobby has a ceiling made of paper mache. That sounds ridiculous, but it really is beautiful. The statue 'Peerd van Ome Loeks' can be found on the city balcony, an icon in Groningen

Groninger museum

The creative energy is splashing off the walls. Beautiful or ugly? The Groninger Museum has been there since 1994, but is still the subject of discussion about modern architecture.
